Sergey Tokarev, a partner and one of the founders of the technology company Roosh, in an interview with the Ukrainian technology publication Speka, told that there is a continuation of the current trend in the development of military technology. He notes that unmanned vehicles, electronic warfare systems, and analytical systems stand out among the most popular areas of development in the military sphere.

According to Sergey Tokarev, Ukrainian experts are actively using the latest technologies, including the modernization of USSR weapons. As an example, he cites the upgrade of old drones, which are now capable of flying more than 1200 km, avoiding detection by Russian air defense systems. Another successful Ukrainian project is an affordable and advanced air defense system capable of recognizing Russian “Shahed” drones by acoustic characteristics.

Ukraine celebrates another significant achievement in the field of military technology with the launch of the military-technical cluster, which was proudly announced by Mikhail Fedorov, Minister of Digital Transformation. Considering Tokarev’s predictions, which are aware of the length of the military confrontation with Russia, the Ukrainians need to remain constantly ready for aggressive actions of the enemy and actively develop their own military technologies.

Sergey Tokarev emphasizes that we need to be aware of the duration of the military confrontation and the persistence of our aggressive neighbor. According to his ideas, the most dangerous events await us not today but in the following 5-10 years. Although Russia is currently on the losing end, the Russians will not accept this humiliation and will seek revenge. 

Therefore, the Ukrainian sector of IT is already actively developing military equipment. Individual specialists are engaged in the creation of advanced control systems for unmanned aerial vehicles, the development of powerful electronic warfare systems, and the analysis of satellite images to ensure high security.

In this context, Sergey Tokarev, although his company Roosh is not directly involved in military-technical projects, actively pays attention to related areas, such as financial and organizational aspects, to support and stimulate the development of military technologies.

It is important to note that Tokarev attaches particular importance to the use of analytical tools, which play an important role in improving overall security. He believes that analytics is an integral part of the future and should be at the center of military innovation.

Sergey Tokarev points to the development of remote-control technologies, including unmanned tanks and compact jet unmanned aerial vehicles, as an important area of development. These technologies have the potential to save the lives of experienced professionals, albeit at a high cost.
